Services: Custom Full Installations

The Path to Independence

Every coach has a unique footprint, and every traveler has a unique goal. We take the guesswork out of off-grid power by custom-engineering a system tailored to your specific energy needs.

The Shop Build

This is where the magic happens. Your rig stays in our dedicated shop, where JD personally handles the installation, ensuring every component is positioned for optimal cooling and easy access for future maintenance.

Stress Testing & Handover

Before you hit the road, we put the system through a rigorous stress test to ensure everything performs under load. JD uses a thermal imaging camera to scan every connection, identifying and correcting any potential weak points before they ever become an issue. Once the system passes the test, we do a thorough walkthrough so you understand exactly how much power is coming in from your solar and how to manage your daily usage.

Custom Installation Frequently Asked Questions

Building a custom electrical system shouldn’t be a mystery. Here is a breakdown of how we handle pricing, and the long-term reliability of your rig.

Our goal is to make your transition to off-grid independence as smooth as possible. If you don’t see your question here, don’t hesitate to ask—we’re here to make sure you’re confident in your build.

01. How long does a custom full installation take?

Most high-end builds take between 4 and 7 business days. Because we custom-engineer the layouts for your specific needs, we take the extra time to ensure the wiring and integration are the best they can possibly be.

Absolutely. We know your rig is your home. You are welcome to stay in the coach overnight while it’s in our shop (we provide 50A shore power).

While our primary hub is our shop in Quartzsite, we do offer limited mobile installation windows during our travels. [Contact us] to see if our paths cross.

Our full-system builds (typically involving 12v, 24v or 48v high-capacity architectures, Victron components, LiFePO4 Lithium batteries, and large solar arrays) generally start at $10,000 and can go up to $35,000+ depending on the complexity of the rig. We specialize in high-performance, long-term solutions, which is reflected in the quality of the engineering and components used.

We stand behind our engineering. We provide a 1-year Workmanship Warranty on all our wiring and mounting. If a connection we made or a bracket we installed fails due to our workmanship, we’ll make it right.

Additionally, the premium components we use (such as Victron and high-end Lithium batteries) carry their own manufacturer warranties, which typically range from 5 to 10 years. If a component we installed fails, we will perform the technical diagnosis and assist you through the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process.

Please note that our warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, or environmental factors (such as rodents or extreme weather).
  • Issues arising from unauthorized modifications or repairs performed by other parties after the rig leaves our shop.
  • Normal wear and tear of components over time.
  • Direct product defects (these are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, and while we will assist with the replacement process, the manufacturer is the primary warrantor for the hardware itself).

Most of our systems are built with Remote Monitoring (VRM). If you have an internet connection, JD can “log in” to your rig from anywhere in the world to troubleshoot settings, and check battery health, without you ever having to drive back to the shop.
